for a specific series of pumps. This procedure can
also be used as a diagnostic tool to verify the integ-
rity of a cir cuit board. On ly q ualified per sonnel
familiar with the complete calibration procedure
should use it as a diagnostic tool.
1. Tools needed for calibration C:
a) Digital volt meter (DVM) or equivalent with
resistance, 5 VDC, and 20 mA.
b) 4-20 mA (1-5 VDC) source and 115 or 220
VAC source
c) Precision screwdriver to a djust potentiom-
eters
d) Tool kit
2. Preparation:
a) Ensure circuit board has been replaced.
b) Remove AC power.
c) Remove cover from ECC.

LOCATED ON TOP OF THE CIRCUIT
BOARD MUST BE SET TO THE VOLT-
AGE LISTED ON YOUR DATA PLATE
(FIGURES 1 O R 2), OR DA MAGE TO
MOTOR WILL RESULT.
d) Ensure voltage selector switch is set to 115
VAC or 230VAC as indicated on data plate
(Section 2).
e) Ensure DIP switches SW2 and SW3 are
set as needed for pro per op eration ( Sec-
tion 2).
f) Remove ECC from pump.
NOTE
Table 13 lists the resistances value of VR8
that is s et a t the m anufacturer on circuit-
card 30300/39320 when the series (pump)
it is being used on is specified.
NOTE
Values above must be obtained with feed-
back potent iometer connector J2
unplugged. Replace J2 after resistance is
set.
g) Disconnect fe edback potentiometer con-
nector J2.
h) Connect a DVM across test pins J6-9 and
J6-10 located on to p of PCB (Figure 11).
Adjust range offset (VR8) for the value of
your product, see Table 13 (VR8 may not
need adjusted).
i) Connect fe edback po tentiometer co nnec-
tor J2.
3. Initial adjustments for zero (VR2), control offset
(VR7), fee dback o ffset ( VR9), a nd feed back
zero (VR5) (Figure 11). (ECC may be on or off
the pump.)

a) Disconnect motor lead, J1. Apply 4 mA (1
VDC) input signal. Apply 115 or 230 VAC
power.
b) Attach ne gative lea d of DVM to p in 8 of
test connector J6.
