Top Solo (21)

(for small amounts of crockery)

With this option the majority of the water
is directed only to the top and middle
spray arms in the dishwasher. This
means that the water jets are aimed only
at items in the upper basket and cutlery
tray (where fitted).

This additional option is recommended
when there is only a small amount of
crockery and cutlery to clean which fits
into the upper basket and the cutlery
tray.

N. B.:
Lightly soiled plates or serving platters
can still be placed in the bottom basket
if there are large spaces between
them. Do not place dishes or bowls or
other hollow containers in the bottom
basket.

In some instances adjusting the upper
basket to the lowest position can make
it easier to accommodate larger plates
in this basket.

Because smaller amounts of crockery
are being washed the amount of deter-
gent recommended by the manufac-
turer can be reduced to approx. 2/3 of
the total amount for a full load. Make
sure, however, when reducing the
amount dispensed that the cleaning re-
sult is not affected.

By using the Top Solo option water and
energy savings are also made.

For example in the UNIVERSAL PLUS 55°
programme only 11 litres of water are
used instead of 17 litres and only 1.0 kWh
of electricity instead of 1.2 kWh.

The Top Solo option can be selected
with all wash programmes.

Switch on the dishwasher with the
"ON-OFF" button (16).

Press the programme selector but-
ton (17) for the programme required.

The duration of the programme se-
lected appears in the time display
(19) in hours and minutes and the
"time left" indicator light stays on.

Press the "Top Solo" button (21).

The indicator light next to the button
comes on. The duration of the pro-
gramme changes (except for the pro-
grammes Energy save and Pre-
wash).

Press the "START/Stop" (22) button.

The indicator light next to the "START/
Stop" button goes out. The pro-
gramme starts.

At the end of the programme sequence
the additional option is cancelled.
