Adding neutralising agent
If with time discolouration or rust spots
appear on instruments, especially at
joints, a special neutralising agent can
be used (contact Miele Professional for
advice if necessary).
Neutralising agent (pH-level: acidic)
neutralises residues of alkaline cleaning
agents on the surface of instruments
and utensils.
It is automatically dispensed in
Programme stage Rinse 2 following the
cleaning cycle of a programme. The
neutralising agent reservoir in the door
of the washer-disinfector needs to be
filled with neutralising agent.
The neutralising agent reservoir holds
approx. 180 ml.

Undo the screw cap.

Add neutralising agent until the level
indicator is dark (see arrow on
illustration). Use a funnel if
necessary.

Replace and firmly tighten the screw
cap. Thoroughly clean up any
spillage.
