Chapter 6: PDI / Storage
The PDI and Storage Mode is used for predelivery testing as
well as periodical testing of batteries in stored vehicles.
Before performing a diagnostic charge on a battery installed
in a vehicle, make sure all vehicle accessory loads are off, the
key is not in the ignition, and the doors are closed.
1. From the MAIN Menu, highlight the DIAGNOSTIC icon
and press the SELECT key.
2. Use the UP (
) or DOWN (
) ARROW key to select the
brand, or press the corresponding numerical key to
move the dot to the option button of your choice.

3. Enter digit 4 and 5, and the last 6 digits of the VIN.
Press the NEXT soft key to continue.
4. Use the UP (
) or DOWN (
) ARROW key to select the
BATTERY LOCATION, or press the corresponding nu-
merical keys to move the dot to the option button of
your choice.

5. In case of IN VEHICLE, the GRX-3080 JLR needs to know
whether the battery is connected over the BMS.
