Time Server
Time is important in the security device. It is configured with the network time server to get an accurate time. Local time
is tend to slow slightly so the time server is preferred.
Supported time synchronization Protocols are NTP, Unix/Linux, Windows, Custom. NTP method uses network time
protocol(
ntpdate
, 123 port), Unix/Linux method uses the time synchronization program(
rdate
, 37 port), Windows
method uses the time synchronization from the windows server(
net time
, 139/445 port).
Time will be configured with specified server on Server a day by selecting Synchronize clock with internet server. This
process is executed automatically and can be executed instantly by clicking Update now button from the time server.
System policy when time changes
The system will be restarted when time goes backward from the current system’s one. The system will not be restarted
when time goes forward, but the network connection and the recording will be stopped before the change of time and will
be restarted after the change of time.

Advancing time occurs few problem to system, turning back time can occur system malfunction. So,
program will be restarted when time is turning back. System will be restarted when Update now button is
clicked with same reason.

Overlap of recorded data will be removed when time is turned back to avoid conflicting.
