Angle influence
Tilt angles of the target both around the X and
the Y axis of less than 5 ° only have a disturbing
effect with surfaces which are highly reflecting.
Tilt angles between 5 ° and 15 ° lead to an
apparent distance change of approximately
0.12 ... 0.2 % of the measuring range, see
Fig.
30
.
Tilt angles between 15 ° and 30 ° lead to an ap-
parent distance change of approximately 0.5 %
of the measuring range.
These influences must be considered espe-
cially when scanning structured surfaces. In
principle the angle behaviour in triangulation
also depends on the reflectivity of the target.
