6.5.3 Thickness Measurement
The differential signal of channel 1 can be directly converted into a thickness value and be output when the
relative dielectric constant ε

of the insulator to be measured is known. The offset can be optionally added to
the result. In order to scale the result, the maximum working distance of the combiSENSOR (e.g. 5000 µm)
must be entered. The thickness value can be calculated as follows:
