6 MAINTENANCE

6.1

Cleaning the Filter Element

It is necessary to keep the

fi

lter clean to ensure good air

fl

ow around the sensor element,

and to prevent a buildup of contamination which could cause harm to the sensor.

The cleaning procedure is as follows:

1.

Carefully remove the

fi

lter cap from the HS3 sensor.

Flow distilled water through the

fi

lter element from the inside out.

3.

Flow alcohol through the

fi

lter element from the inside out.

4.

Using compressed air, dry the

fi

lter element from the inside out.

If there is any doubt about the cleanliness of the

fi

lter after cleaning, a replacement can

be ordered - order code A000018.
