To operate a device move the field cursor to the corresponding edit block
and press the relevant softkey. To access further devices, such as the dos-
ing drives B1 ... C4 or the sensors of the measuring interface B, press the
<TAB> key. With <Shift><TAB> or <TAB> you can switch from one dis-
play to the other of the different interfaces.
8.2 Dosing devices
For each dosing drive the name and concentration of its reagent can be
entered. This serves to enable the automatic reagent check if a given
method requires a specific reagent.
Automatic reagent check
It may be convenient to force a comparison check to determine whether the
settings for a dosing drive in a method and the current settings on the
‘Devices’ page are identical. If any reagent name and/or concentration is
entered on both dialog pages (Method editor and Devices & Manual Control
page), an automatic reagent check will be performed. Both entries will be
compared. Any difference in a reagent or concentration setting will cause an
error message at the beginning of that particular titration.
The automatic reagent check is disabled if the reagent and concentration
settings are cleared on at least one page.
Operating a dosing drive
Move the cursor to a dosing drive and press the [Dos. drive] softkey to
manually operate a Dosimat or Dosino.

Enter the desired reagent volume to be dispensed and adjust the dosing
and filling rate, if required.
The softkeys:
[Start Stop]
Starts the dosing process of the preset volume. Holds or
continues a process, respectively.
[Fill]
Starts the filling of the buret.
Special functions for Dosino handling:
[Prep]
Starts a preparation cycle of a Dosino to flush the buret’s
tubing and cylinder.
