Astro function
Astro function
The
astro function
means that your
blind can be opened or closed at the
current actual times of sunrise or
sunset, rather than at a pre-set
switching time. The blind time switch
hence contains an integrated
astronomical calendar that calculates
the precise sunrise and sunset times
for every day of the year.
Fig. 2: Astronomical calendar for
sunrise and sunset
You can switch the astro function on or
off individually for each switching time.
If the astro function is switched-on and
recognises it is still dark outside at the
switching time (e.g. "Move blind UP"
▲
at 6:30 a.m."), it will raise the blind
when the sun rises.
This is also the case for sunset when
the astro function calculates that it is
dark outside before the set switching
time (e.g. "Move blind DOWN
▼
at 7:10
p.m.").
Other switching times set for daylight
hours are not affected by the astro
function.
