MAINTENANCE

2. Painting Drive Unit or Transom Assembly

•

Paint the drive unit and transom assembly with a good quality

marine paint or an anti‑fouling paint that does not contain copper,

tin, or any other material that could conduct electrical current. Do

not paint drain holes, anodes, or items specified by the boat

manufacturer.

3. Additional Corrosion Prevention Tips

•

Spray the power package components on the inside of the boat

every two to three weeks with Corrosion Guard to protect the finish

from dulling and corrosion. External power package components

may also be sprayed.
