Switching the daytime driving lights on
or off
If you have set “Daytime driving lamps” and
the light switch is at 0 , the following light
up automatically while the engine is run-
ning:

Side lamps and dipped-beam head-
lamps

The daytime driving lights are switched

tion apart from 0 , the appropriate light switches

lights in darkness while the vehicle is in motion.

Hiding or showing the additional speed-
ometer
You can show an additional digital speed-
ometer in the multi-function display. The
speed is displayed in miles per hour.

Activating and deactivating the radar
sensor system*
If your vehicle is equipped with a 24 GHz
radar sensor system, you can deactivate or
activate it.

You must deactivate the 24 GHz radar sen-
sor system in certain countries and near to radio
astronomical installations.

Information on where you must deactivate
the radar sensor system is available from a
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre.
