General safety information

WARNING
Before releasing the spring-loaded parking brake, se-
cure the vehicle with wheel chocks to prevent it from
rolling away. Attach a clearly visible sign on the me-
chanically released spring-loaded parking brake in the
vehicle interior. Before operating the vehicle again, the
spring brake cylinders must be returned to the driving
position.
If the compressed air supply is insufficient, the spring-loaded
parking brake can be released pneumatically via an external
compressed air source or mechanically. The arrangement of
spring brake cylinders on the front and/or rear axle depends
on the axle configuration.
Releasing the spring-loaded parking brake pneumatically
The spring-loaded parking brake of the towing vehicle can be
released via the test connections on the brake value sensor,
see page 38.

The filling pressure must not exceed 12.5 bar.
