Ë

Wait for 10 minutes after three starting attempts. You 

could otherwise damage the starter.

Bleeding vehicles with engine OM 936 with the starter:

 

M

Apply parking brake.

 

M

Shift transmission to neutral.

 

M

Press start/stop button 

:

 all the way down and hold. Do 

not depress the accelerator pedal. 

The start attempt is interrupted automatically after about 

60 seconds.

 

M

When the engine ignites regularly, release the start/

stop button 

:

 and depress the accelerator pedal several 

times. 

The fuel system bleeds itself completely.

 

M

If the engine does not start, press start/stop button 

:

 

all the way down again and hold.
