Engine Oil Level Check
1 D ipstick
2 Oil filler cap
Check engine oil level regularly or
after each fuel fill-up, w ith the engine
o ff and at operating tem perature
(engine m ust be at operating te m p e r­
ature fo r some time).
Checking Fuels Coolants Lubricants etc.
The vehicle should be
parked on level ground and
the oil level m ust be som e­
where betw een the lower
and the upper m ark on
d ip stick (1); do not add in
excess of the upper mark.
W ipe d ip stick before any oil level
m easurement. To determ ine the oil
level, check both sides of the
d ipstick. Always determ ine the oil
level by means of the straight
horizontal marking form ed by the oil
on one side of the dipstick.
