Practical Hints
Luggage or Ski Racks
We recom m end the use of drip rail
m ounted ski and ro o f racks. These
racks do not require additional su p ­
ports (suction cups o r legs). Such
su p p o rts may lead to marring of the
paint or even denting of the ro o f if
excessive w eight is placed on the
rack. Y our MERCEDES-BENZ dealer
can give fu rth e r advice.
First Aid Kit
The firs t aid kit is stored in the hat
shelf at the rear. To open the lid, push
button (1).
Spare Wheel, Jack, Vehicle Tool Kit
The spare wheel (1), jack (2) and
vehicle tool kit are stored in a
com partm ent below the trunk flo o r (3).
P rior to lifting up the cover, fold back
mats and engage strap (4) in tru n k lid.
Warning!
The jack is designed exclusively for
jacking up the vehicle at the jack
tu b e s provided on either side of the
vehicle. Use the jack only to lift the
vehicle during a tire change. Never
get beneath the vehicle while it is
supported only by the jack. Jack
stands m ust be used when working
under the vehicle.
