2.1.1.6 Port Connector LED Indicators
Above the uplink ports are LEDs, one for each port
. The following table shows the port sta-
tus according to the LED indication.
Above the downlink ports are LEDs, 1 per port
. The following table shows the port status
according to the LED indication.

The LED indicator, corresponding to each data port, will light orange when the physical connec-
tion is established (that is, when the unit is powered on and a cable is plugged into the port with
the other end of the connector plugged into a functioning port). When a logical connection is
made the LED will change to green. When data is being transferred the light will blink green.
2.2
Air Flow
These switches can come with two air flow patterns. The two patterns are:

Connector side inlet to power side outlet
•
Power side inlet to connector side outlet
