5.8 Read log files correctly

The log file contains the following information:

Operating pauses
In general, the door should only be leant to during operational pauses in order to reduce wear on the door
seal and to avoid premature failure or sticking.
In the event of longer breaks, such as during vacations, the cooling water supply should be turned off (and
the feed water supply from the water treatment unit if one is connected). We recommend that you do not
disconnect the power supply.
If you allow the autoclave to remain unused for a lengthy period of time, we recommend to perform a
sterilization cycle with an empty sterilization chamber, before normal use again.
