Contrast Adjustment
PAT4 has been designed so that contrast adjustment will not normally be required unless working at extremes of temperature.
1 Press and hold the letter ‘C’ key during the full switch on sequence.
The Contrast screen is displayed.
2 Press the left hand keys repeatedly, to adjust the contrast as required
and press the OK key.
Reset to default Settings
If desired, the PAT4 can be reset to the factory default settings, and re-instate the demonstration data.
Note: All existing data and User configurations will be erased.
1 Press and hold the letter
‘R’
key during the full switch on sequence.
The adjacent screen is displayed:
2 Confirm the request using the
‘Y’
key. On completion, you will be returned
to the Login screen.
3 Use ‘AVO’ and ‘1 2 3 4’ as the User / Pin to re-start.
Shortcut to Comms Upload (from PC)
If there is no useful data stored in PAT4 , and it is required to upload new data from a PC,
this short cut allows direct access to the “COMMS RECEIVE” mode.
1 Press and hold the letter
‘U’
keyboard key during the full switch on sequence
The ‘Erase Data’ screen is displayed.
2 Press
EXIT
to cancel the erasure, or
CONTINUE
to proceed.
The ‘Are you sure ?’ screen is displayed.
3 Press the
YES
key to confirm, or cancel by pressing the
NO
key.
Results print-out after test
PAT4 can be selected to print a short report of the test results immediately after each test. To toggle the status of this feature from off to on or vice
versa, press and hold the ‘P’ key during the full switch on sequence. Note: No screen is displayed to show that the change has occurred.
