How to connect via
Win 2000 Hyper Terminal

Start Hyper Terminal. You will find it under
Start, Programs, Accessories, Communications

Type the name of the connection and click
OK

Select COM1 (Hyper terminal Windows 2000)
and click OK

Select:
Bits per second: 19200
Data bits: 8
Parity: Space
Stop bits 1
Flow control: None

Click "OK" .

Transfer

and select

Capture Text

Enter the name of the file where the data
should be stored and click on "
Start "

When the test is finished, click on "Trans-
fer" and select "Capture Text" and click on
"Stop"
Note If you need to check or change the settings,
start by clicking on the icon for the connec-
tion, click the button “disconnect”, the button
“properties” and then on “Configure”.
