How to connect via Win XP
hyper terminal

Start Hyper Terminal in the Accessories menu.
Note If Hyper Terminal is not installed you will have
to install it in the "Install/uninstall softwares"
in the Control panel.

Type a name of the connection, choose an
icon and click
OK .

Select "Direct to COM1" or "Direct to COM2"
and click OK

Select:
Bits per second 19200
Data bits 8
Parity Even
Stop bit 1
Flow control Xon/Xoff

Click "OK" .

Click on "Transfer" and select "Capture
Text".

Enter the name of the file where the data
should be stored and click on "
Start" .

When the test is finished click on " Transfer "
select " Capture Text " and click on " Stop ".
Note
If you get problems with data transfering,
check the Properties for the Port Settings. First
select "File" and "Exit". Then restart by click-
ing the icon you have choosen for the connec-
tion.
Select "File", "Properties" from the menu bar.
Then click on "Configure" to go to the "Port
Settings".
