OPERATION
1.
Unpack the Grease Gun kit, which includes grease gun, battery charger, and user manual.
2.
Read and carefully observe these operating instructions before removing and operating the Grease Gun.
Always observe the safety instructions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.
Understand the following instructions before attempting to operate this product. Keep this guide available
for easy reference.
BATTERY/CHARGER OPERATION
1.
Place the battery in the charger and check the output voltage
of the charger is the same as battery. Be careful negative
electrode battery and negative electrode charger slot must be
aligned, that means, protruding part of the battery must be
aligned with recessed part of the charger. It will cause serious
damage if the battery is placed reversely.
2.
When properly connected, the green light displays, press SET
Button after checking, the green light goes off and the red light
glows, indicating the charger is in charge mode.
3.
When the battery is fully charged, the red light goes out and
the green light glows. Remove the battery and operate the grease gun.
4.
Disconnect the charger from the power source when not in use to ensure the safety.
5.
Meganex battery must pair with Meganex charger, never exchange.
NOTE:
Battery temperature will increase during and shortly after use. Batteries may not accept a full charge when
charged immediately after use. Allow the battery pack to cool to room temperature before charging for best
results.
Battery Care
When batteries are not in tool or charger, keep them away from metal objects.
For example, to protect
terminals from shorting
DO NOT
place batteries in a toolbox or pocket with nails, screws, keys, etc. Fire or injury
may result.
DO NOT PUT BATTERIES INTO FIRE OR E XPOSE TO HIGH HEAT. They may explode.
Battery Disposal
Do not attempt to disassemble the battery or remove any component projecting from the battery
terminals.
Fire or injury may result. Prior to disposal, protect exposed terminals with heavy insulating tape to prevent
shorting.
Nickel-Cadmium Batteries
This product contains a nickel-cadmium battery. Battery must be collected, recycled or
disposed of properly. Please contact a qualified service centre for information on Ni-Cd
battery recycling and disposal bans/restrictions in our area.
