17.1. Error code displays
The washing machine is equipped with an alarm system which displays error codes
to help identify minor problems. Simple errors can be pinpointed and their causes
determined.
If an error is detected, the corresponding error code is shown on the display:

U4
The washing machine door is not
closed.
Check if the washing machine
door is closed correctly or
if clothing is jammed in the
door.
E11
Low water pressure, no water in
the washing machine
Open the stopcock, check the
water hose and filter as well as
the water pressure.
Then select a wash
programme and press the
button (9) to start the
programme.
E12
The water does not drain away
completely:
The pump filter is clogged.
The waste water hose was not
installed correctly.
The waste water hose was placed
below the water level of the drum.
Check the pump filter.
Check the waste water hose.
Check the height of the waste
water hose, which should be
at a height of 0.6 m to 1.20 m
above the floor.

Door blocked:
Water temperature too high.
Appliance connected to the hot
water connection
Wait until the door lock
releases when the water
temperature falls below 60 °C.
Connect the appliance to a
cold water connection.
U3
Appliance does not spin:
The balance control has triggered.
Drum is overloaded.
Large items of laundry have been
folded/rolled in the drum
Do not overload the drum.
Always distribute items of
laundry evenly.
