12.3. Selecting the start time of the wash cycle
The delay start time function can be used to start the wash cycle at a specific time.
Close the washing machine door (5).
Set the programme selector (2) to the desired position (see “12.2. Overview of
the wash programmes” on page 80).
Select additional functions or change the wash parameters as required
(changing the temperature or spin speed).
Press the
StartDelay
button (10) several times to set the desired delay for the
wash start. It is possible to set a value of 1 to 24 hours.
Press the
button (9). The washing machine goes into wait mode. The wash
cycle starts automatically after the start time has expired. The remaining time
and the
symbol are displayed when the delay start time function is selected.
To switch off the delay start time function, turn the programme selector
to the
position (8) to switch off the appliance. To wash without
setting a time delay, proceed as described under “12.1. Selecting a wash
programme” on page 79.
12.4. Starting/interrupting a programme
Press the
button (9) to start and interrupt the wash programme.
The
PAUSE
function can be used to soak the laundry. Soaking can
improve the washing result for heavily soiled laundry.
Wait about 10 minutes after starting the selected programme and then press the
button.
When the desired soaking time has elapsed, press the
button again to
continue the wash programme.
12.5. Safety
lock
This feature locks the function buttons, which prevents changing settings or
interrupting the running wash programme.
Press and hold the
Temp
button (13) for approx. 3 seconds to switch the safety
lock on or off.
If the safety lock has been activated,
is shown on the display. If the
programme selector is adjusted during a wash cycle, the programme that was set
before the safety lock was activated will be continued.
