The Web confi gurator

The Web conﬁ gurator is an HTML-based user interface to the NAS server that
you can call up through your Web browser.
Use at least Internet Explorer 6.0 or Mozilla Firefox 2.00 or later versions of these
browsers. The screen resolution should be 1024 x 768 or higher.
To be able to use the Web conﬁ gurator, pop-up windows must be permitted in
the Web browser and the Windows pop-up blocker must be deactivated.
You must also activate JavaScript.
The Web conﬁ gurator can be called up in 3 ways:
• Open your standard Web browser and enter the IP address displayed in the

NAS Starter Utility in the address bar of the Web browser.

or
• Enter “http://nas-server” in the address bar of the Web browser
or
• In the NAS Starter Utility main menu, click on the

Configuration

entry

(top left) and then on

Administration

. When prompted, enter your user

name and password to open the page.

The standard Web browser opens and the main menu appears.

PLEASE NOTE!

On delivery, the user name [

admin

] and the password [

1234

] are

preset. Log in with this user ﬁ rst and then change your password.
You will prompted to do so after the log in.
