temperature. The use of a transport or plastic bag offers limited
protection against fluctuations in temperature.
Do not drop the device
Strong shocks or vibrations caused during falling can cause
malfunctions. Place the carrying loop around your wrist if you are
carrying the camera.
Do not remove the battery when data is being processed.
Switching off the electricity supply if image data on memory cards
are being displayed or deleted can lead to a loss of date or
damage the memory.
Treat the lens and all moveable parts with care.
Do not touch the lens or the lens barrel. Be careful when handling
the memory card and the battery. These parts have not been
designed for heavy stresses.
Batteries
The battery capacity can decline sharply at low temperatures.
Keep a warm replacement battery ready, if you are
photographing in cold temperatures.
Clean the contacts of the battery with a dry, clean cloth if they
are dirty, or use a rubber to remove residues.
Memory cards
Switch the electricity supply off before you insert or remove the
