Under the
Channel Name
column, leave the default channel name as Ain 0.

column, select the input range for analog input channel.

Coupling
column, select the coupling type (AC or DC) for your sensor.
Since this example is monitoring a voltage input,

is used.

Under the
Current Source
column, select whether to enable or disable use of the 4 mA
current source on the data acquisition device.
Since this example is monitoring a voltage input, the
Current Source
checkbox is not checked
(disabled) for the analog input channel.

Under the
Engineering Units
column, select the engineering units for the input.
In this example,

is used.

Enter the number of mV per engineering unit in the
mV/EU
field.
In this example,

is used.

If an offset is specified for the input, enter the value in the
EU Offset
field.
In this example, no offset (

) is specified.

If desired, enter a test point value for the channel.
In this example,

If desired, enter a sensor direction for each channel.

Close
to close the Configure Devices dialog box.
