Sync Bus Connector on the DT9857E Module
shows the Sync Bus (RJ45) connectors on the DT9857E module.

If you want to synchronize the analog input channels of multiple modules, you must connect
a cable from the Ain Sync Bus connector on one module to the Ain Sync Bus connector on the
next module.
If you want to synchronize the analog output channels on multiple modules, you must
connect a cable from the Ain Sync Bus connector (B or D) on one module to the Ain Sync Bus
connector (B or D) on the next module, and then connect a cable from the DA Out Sync Bus
connector (A or C) on one module to the DA Out Sync Bus connector (A or C) on the next
module.
Note:
The Ain Sync Bus connectors (B and D) provide the reference clock that the D/A
subsystem requires for synchronization.
