Clutch Fluid Filter Replacement 

NOTE: Drain the Clutch Fluid. For further information, please refer to:  Clutch Fluid Drain. 

 

Figure 120: Clutch Fluid Filter Cover Plate and Bolts 

1.

 

Remove the clutch fluid filter cover plate bolts (item 1) and remove the cover plate (item 2) 

2.

 

Use a suitable container to catch all drained fluid

3.

 

Remove and discard the clutch fluid filter (item 3) 

4.

 

Install the replacement clutch fluid filter (item 3)  

5.

 

Inspect the condition of the clutch fluid filter cover seal and replace if required 

6.

 

Install the clutch fluid filter cover (item 2) and torque the bolts (item 1) to 10 NM 

7.

 

Check the transmission for fluid leaks 

 

NOTE:  Make sure the clutch fluid filter is clean and free from dirt and debris to avoid 
contamination.
