Engine Oil System Related Processes 

Prior to draining or filling the engine oil, the car must be secured on a lift with the engine floor panel 
and rear deck removed. 

Note: 

Use the recommended engine oil, please refer to: Engine Oil Specification. 

 

Engine Oil Drain

Remove the oil filler cap (item 1)

 

2.

 

Remove the plenum cover (item 2) 

3.

 

Remove the oil filter cap (item 3) and discard the filter (item 4)

Remove the sump plug (item 5) 

a.

 

Use a suitable container to catch all drained fluid 

b.

 

Drain the oil whilst at a warm temperature 

5.

 

Remove the oil tank drain plug (item 6) 

6.

 

Disconnect both turbocharger oil return hoses (item 7) from the engine bed plate 

7.

 

Allow the engine to drain oil for a minimum of 15 minutes
