4. Press the INPUT /TRIM Control (inner knob)
to exit the Setup Mode. The MXA60 will now
switch Off to active the change just made to the
Tuner Region.
5. Press the VOLUME Control to switch the
MXA60 On and proceed to “TUNER RADIO
TEXT” or “How to Operate” starting on the next
page.
The tuner circuitry inside the MXA60 is capable of
receiving AM/FM Broadcasts in various parts of the
world. In some countries the broadcasters use slightly
different standards and the MXA60 accommodates
these differences.
Your McIntosh MXA60 has been factory config-
ured for the broadcast standards in your country. If for
some reason there is need make a change, follow the
steps below for changing the receiving standards:
1. Press and hold in the INPUT/TRIM Control (in-
ner knob) until the Setup Mode is active.
2. Rotate the INPUT/TRIM Control (inner knob) to
select “SETUP: TUNER REGION”, indicating
the default setting. Refer to figure 21.
3. Rotate the TUNE/▲TRIM▼ Control (outer knob)
to select one of four choices, refer to figures 22,
23, 24 and 25:

The MXA60 Tuner supports display of text from
many FM Radio Stations. When available from a FM
Station, the text information appears on the second
line of Front Panel Information Display. For addi-
tional information refer to page 32. The display of the
Information can be switched off by performing the
following:

Information Display will revert back to its normal
display.
