Push-button is pressed during
playback of the first three seconds of the track, the
MXA60 will start playing back the previous track
from the beginning. If the Display is indicating
time, it will momentarily indicate the track number.
SACD or CD Track Selection
Press the LAYER/SEEK Push-button once to display
the layer selected on a SACD/CD Hybrid Disc. Press
the Push-button twice to change from current layer to
the other layer for playback.
Time
Press the TIME Push-button to access various disc
times. It is also used to return the Display to indicate
time instead of text information on a SACD Disc.
Text
Press the TEXT Push-button to select the various text
information on a SACD Disc such as Album, Artist
and Track Titles (disc dependent).
Also displays various
information such as Station Call Leters, Artist Name, Song
Title and Music Genre on FM Stations
(station depen-
dent).
How to use the Remote Control
How to use the Remote Control
The Remote Control is capable of performing most
Operating Functions for the MXA60 Integrated Audio
System.
Note: Refer to the “How to Operate” Section of this
manual for additional information using this
Remote Control.
Input Source Selection
Press
INP/TRIM ▲ or ▼ Push-button to select the next or
previous program source.
Volume
Press the VOL

q
Push-buttons to raise or lower
the listening volume level.
Mute
Press the MUTE Push-button to mute the audio. The
word MUTE will appear on the Front Panel Informa-
tion Display. To un-mute the audio, press the MUTE
Push-button again.
Manual Tuning
Press the

to move from station to station (AM or FM).
Automatic Tuning
Press the LAYER/SEEK to move to the next station
(AM or FM) up the dial.
Preset Tuning

Trim
Press the TRIM Push-button until the desired Trim
function (Bass, Balance, Treble, Tuner Functions, etc.)
appears on the Front Panel Information display, then
press the INP/TRIM

Push-button to adjust
the Trim setting.
Note: Press and release the TRIM Push-button at any
time to recall the last Trim Function Selected. For
additional information on the Trim Functions refer
to pages 26, 27 and 28.
