Set Up Calibration
Install the appropriate type depth star that will match the heater
adapters used.
Select the appropriate Set Up Gauge for the heater adapters
being used and use that gauge for the calibration procedures.
Loosen the bolts attaching the setting stop block and depth star
block to the frame.
Push in and hold the setting stop. Insert the appropriate Set Up
Gauge that matches the heater adapters used, between the inner
jaw frames with the stop block portion down. Close the carriage
until the inner jaw frames are resting against the Set Up Gauge.
Lock the carriage. Adjust the setting stop block until it rests against
the inner jaw frame on the movable jaws.
Tighten the bolts on setting stop block.
Unlock the carriage. Open and close the carriage against the
setting stop and verify the measurement between the inner jaw
frames.
