6. Operation
Follow the instructions below after programming the work parameters (see chapter 5
“Programming the general parameters”):
Turn the monitor on (
key). The system will run a brief test for <2> seconds by
turning on the LEDS and the segments of the display, and it will then display the
working hours (resettable by pressing one of the keys) and the feed-rate.
During normal operation, you can check the parameters worked by simply pressing
the
and
keys; the arrows at the bottom of the display will indicate the
selected parameter.
While carrying out the work in MANUAL or AUTOMATIC mode, if the work width
division has been set, for example in 3 sectors, pressing the
key for the first
time, the monitor turns off the third sector from the left on the display and continues
to count the worked area with only 2/3 of the total working width. By pressing the
key again, the Monitor also eliminates the second sector and continues to
count the area with only 1/3 of the working width. By pressing the
key again,
the Monitor restores the total working width.
While carrying out the work, when the total width is split with the
key, if at the
end of the range the isolator (sensor) trips and suspends the count, when works are
resumed and the isolator is deactivated, the Monitor resumes counting the full
working width, thereby deleting the split set with the
key.
While carrying out the work, holding the
key down for more than <2> seconds
selects the MANUAL mode, in which the hectare count is always carried out,
regardless of the isolator on the machine.
However, the numbers that indicate the value of the total and partial worked area
flash when in AUTOMATIC mode, the isolator trips and signals to the Monitor to
suspend the hectare count. When the count resumes, the numbers return to being
permanently on.
NOTE
: if you use a seed sensor (parameter Ct = FA or FC), the count is
interrupted with a delay of <2.5> seconds.
