Troubleshooting
In purchasing the Mc Crypt MIDI-100 DJ-Controller, you have acquired a reliable product designed to the state of
the art and operationally safe.
Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe how to eliminate possible errors here:
Always observe the safety information!
No function after the device was connected to the computer’s USB interface.
• The USB connection is defective. Check the USB line.
• The device is not recognised by the computer. Disconnect and reconnect the device.
• The USB interface of your computer is defective.
The DJ controller is recognised, but no sound can be heard.
• The volume control is not set properly.
• The soundcard configuration is defective. Learn about the correct configuration in the software instructions.
• The downstream audio device (amplifier, active speaker, etc.) is set incorrectly or switched off.
An interference signal can be heard.
• An earth loop is present between the connected devices. Connect the earth between DJ controller and
downstream audio device with a special earth-isolated cable.
Repairs other than those described above must only be carried out by an authorised specialist.
Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
