HOT/COLD – White and heavily soiled,
color-fast items
WARM/WARM – Delicate or colorfast items
WARM/COLD – Moderately soiled,
colored items; most wrinkle free items
COLD/COLD – Brightly colored, lightly
soiled items; washable woolens

REMEMBER: In wash water temperatures below
65° F, detergents do not dissolve well or clean
well. Care labels define cold water as up to 85° F.
• Add detergent and any additives
• Add load and close lid
• Pull the control dial out to start

Select water
temperature
Press the appropriate button to select the wash and
rinse temperatures. Follow the garment care label
for best results. Use the chart at the right as a guide.
While the washer is filling, there may be a mixing of
hot and cold water to reach the proper water tem-
perature.

ENERGY SAVING HOT WASH LIGHT –
Energy Saving Hot Wash light will illuminate
during the wash portion of the cycle when
this option is selected.
REMIND CHIME – When this option is
selected, an end-of-cycle reminder chime
will sound every 4 minutes after the cycle
is completed. To cancel the chime, push
the control knob in, press the CANCEL
button OR set CHIME switch to OFF (see
pg. 6.)
CANCEL – Press this button to cancel and
reset any of the options.
USE
EXTRA RINSE – Provides an additional
rinse at the end of the cycle to more com-
pletely remove laundry additives, suds, per-
fume, etc.
CLEAN LIGHT – When this option is select-
ed, the CLEAN indicator light will illuminate
at the end of the cycle. If the button is dese-
lected, the light will remain inactive.
USE
NOTE: The CLEAN light may illumi-
nate if the washer is stopped for soak-
ing (pushing the control knob in) after
the fill is complete. When the washer
is restarted, the light will turn off. The
CLEAN light will reilluminate when the
cycle is complete.
ENERGY SAVING HOT WASH – Selecting
this option when choosing the Hot/Cold
Wash/Rinse water temperature will provide
a 90° F hot water wash temperature. This
temperature is achieved by mixing cold
water with the hot.
The reduced hot water usage results in
energy savings. For improved cleaning per-
formance when washing warm wash items,
choose ENERGY SAVING HOT WASH.
SUPER WASH – Can be used with any
wash cycle to clean very heavily soiled
items. Provides fast agitation and normal
spin throughout all cycles.
