Attention!
For additional protection it is reasonable to
install a residual current device (RCD) with
nominal operation current not exceeding
30 mA. To install RCD contact a specialist.
SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the samovar, read this instruction
carefully. Keep these instructions for future
reference.
Use the samovar according to its intended
purpose only, as it is stated in this user manual.
Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage
and cause harm to the user or damage to his/
her property.
To avoid risk of electric shock observe the
following safety measures.
•
Make sure that operating voltage of the unit
corresponds to voltage of your home mains.
•
Power cord is equipped with “euro plug”;
plug it into the socket with reliable ground-
ing contact.
•
To avoid fire do not use adapters for con-
necting the unit to the mains.
•
Do not use the unit in bathrooms. Do not use
it near swimming pools or other containers
filled with water.
•
Do not use the unit near heat sources or
open flame.
•
Place the unit on a flat stable surface; do not
place the unit on the edge of table.
•
Do not place the unit near walls or furniture,
the distance between the unit and any other
surface should be at least 30 cm.
•
Do not use the unit outdoors.
•
Use only the attachments supplied.
•
Do not touch the samovar body, the power
cord and plug with wet hands, this may
cause injuries or electric shock.
•
Provide that the power cord does not hang
from the edge of a table, or touch hot sur-
faces and sharp edges of furniture.
•
When unplugging the unit pull the plug but
not cord.
•
Do not switch the unit on without water.
•
Do not use the unit without lid.
•
Use the samovar for water boiling only. It is
prohibited to heat or boil other liquids in it.
•
Ensure that water level is not above the
«MAX» mark.
•
Do not refill the samovar during boiling.
•
Do not fill the samovar with water directly
from the faucet; use a suitable bowl for this.
•
Use only the removable parts supplied with
the unit.
•
Place the teapot on the samovar body
before switching it on.
•
The teapot is not intended for microwave
ovens, ovens or any heating surfaces.
•
Do not drop or tilt the unit.
•
Do not leave the operating unit unattended.
•
Do not open the lid and do not pour water
from the tap during boiling.
•
Keep your hands away from the steam
release openings and do not bend over
them, it may cause burns. Do not block the
steam release openings with any objects.
•
Do not lift and do not move the unit when
water starts to boil and during boiling, as it
may cause burns by outgoing steam.
•
Do not touch hot surfaces of the unit.
•
Be careful while carrying the unit filled with
boiling water. Carry the samovar holding it
by the handles only.
•
Before pouring out the remaining water let
the unit cool down, then remove the lid and
the plastic ring and pour out water.
