6 Tips for fault diagnostics:
Symptom
Possible cause
Rectification
The motor is not running. The battery is empty or faulty.
The wiring to the motor is faulty.
Charge or replace battery.
Remove the battery, dismantle the
handle and check for a loose
connection.
Pressure relief valve
opens and releases
grease.
Faulty or clogged lubrication
nipple.
Lubrication line faulty or
clogged.
Depository faulty or clogged.
Check related parts and, if necessary,
clean or replace them.
Device does not produce
grease.
The grease cartridge is empty.
The grease supply has been
interrupted.
Check levels in the cartridge.
Tightly screw cartridge in place.
Device continues with the
production of grease.
As the cartridge fills with loose
grease, air bubbles become
trapped in the grease.
Exchange the cartridge with one that
is free of air bubbles.
The battery will not
charge.
Charger without power supply.
The battery remains too hot.
Battery faulty or worn out.
Check that the outlet has power.
Allow battery to cool before charging
