devices (a hood with mechanical absorption of odours).
Intensive and long-term use of the appliance may require additional •
ventilation, e.g. opening the windows or increasing the effective-
ness of ventilation system by setting the hood control to a higher
level, if available.
Unattended cooking on a hob with fat or oil can be dangerous and •
may result in ire.
Never attempt to extinguish a ire with water. Instead, switch off the •
appliance and cover the lame e.g. with a pot lid or a ire blanket.
Fire hazard: Do not store any items on the cooking surface. •
Remove all spatter from the lid before lifting it off the hob. •
Glass lid may break when heated. Before closing the lid, turn off all •
burners and allow the hob to cool down.
WARNING: The oven may be used by children only if they were
•
instructed on how to use the oven safely and understood the risks
associated with inappropriate use.
WARNING: When in use, the cooker may become very hot. Care
•
should be taken to avoid touching the heating elements inside the
oven. Children below 8 years old should be kept away from the ap-
pliance, unless constantly supervised.
Always stand back when opening the oven door so that the accu-

mulated hot air and steam can dissipate safely.
Use dry protective gloves when moving dishes off the hob or ba- •
king tins out of the oven.
The inside of the drawer may become very hot during normal use. •
Never place inlammable or heat-sensitive items in the drawer or •
inside the oven.
WARNING: If the door or door gasket is damaged, you must not
•
use the oven until it is repaired by a qualiied technician.
WARNING: To avoid electric shock, before replacing the oven lamp •
make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the mains. Pro-
ceed after the appliance has cooled down. Use a rubber glove to
unscrew the bowl and lamp easily.
