P r o d u c t D e s c r i p t i o n
The Rad-8 family of pulse oximeters are noninvasive, arterial oxygen saturation and pulse
rate monitors. The Rad-8 family features a multicolored LED display that continuously dis-
plays numeric values for SpO
2
and pulse rate, as well as LED indicator bars for Perfusion
Index (PI) and Signal Identification and Quality Indicator (Signal IQ
®
).
The Rad-8 family consists of two models: the vertical Rad-8 and the horizontal Rad-8.

INDICATIONS FOR USE
The Rad-8 family of pulse oximeters and accessories are indicated for the continuous, non-
invasive monitoring of functional oxygen saturation of arterial hemoglobin (SpO
2
) and pulse
rate (measured by an SpO
2
sensor). The Rad-8 family of pulse oximeters and accessories
are indicated for use with adult, pediatric, Infant and neonatal patients during both motion
and no motion conditions, and for patients who are well or poorly perfused in hospitals,
hospital-type facilities, mobile and home environments.
