REGULARITY
Change engine oil (4 - 5 - 6)

(1) = The regularity of these operations can vary depending
on engine use and the ambient conditions in which
it operates.
(2) = These operations must be carried out every 6 months
even when the specified operating hours have not
been reached.
(3) = Maximum period, with high-quality fuel; it may vary
depending on fuel .
(4) = Change after the first 50 hours of service (running-in)
(5) = If fuel with a sulphur content of more than 0.5% in
used, the engine oil change intervals must be halved.
(6) = These operations must be carried out every 6 months
even when the specified operating hours have not
been reached.
6.10 P
ERIOD
OF
INACTIVITY
If the generator is not to be used for a long period of time,
the following operations must be carried out.
• Completely empty out the fuel tank.
• Change the engine oil.
• Clean the air filter.
• Disconnect the battery cables. We recommend you
recharge the battery every month in order to prevent it
from going completely flat which, sometimes,
compromises its integrity.
• Clean the outside of the generator, removing all dust
and impurities.
• Cover the generator with a nylon sheet and store it in
horizontal position in a dry and ventilated place.
