CONTROLLED OUTLET GROUPS (2KVA/3KVA)

2KVA and 3KVA models have controlled outlet group function to prioritize battery
power for mission-critical equipment. If enabled, Segment 1 outlets are always
on while Segment 2 outlets can be set to automatic on / off functions based on
your settings during Battery Mode. This function is set via software and using the
RS232 communication method.

Send command

“PET” enables this function and send command “PDT” disables

this function. The default setting is set to disable.

If this function is enabled, Segment 2 outlets will be automatically shut off after
10 seconds of the UPS switching to Battery Mode and switch back to supplying
power after 1 minute when the UPS returns to Line Mode or Bypass Mode. By
cutting off power to Segment 2, Segment 1 has the maximum battery backup
time available. Connect mission-critical equipment to sockets in Segment 1 and
non-mission critical equipment to sockets in Segment 2.
