Register regulator
Press the
button to switch the
register regulator ON / OFF. The register regulator should be switched on if you process preprinted
material. Switch off the register regulator if a preprint does not exist.
There are additional possibilities with the "With register regulator" setting:

Length of the mark

Measuring zone before and after the mark: in [mm]

1. Definition of the register mark
Enter the length or the register mark in web run direction and the tolerance here. There must be
no measuring signals in the measuring zone before and after the mark.
2. Distance between beginning of punching sheet and pos. edge of the register mark
First job presetting requires the position of the register mark related to the beginning (edge) of the
punching sheet.
3. Dynamic regulator
The dynamic regulator controls the phase displacement and maintains the punch contour at the
correct position to the preprint. Regulation intensity, average measurements and max.
manipulated variable depend on the web material. The heavier the fluctuation of the preprint
register, the finer must be the register regulator adjustment. The same applies to elastic web
material.
4. Lead regulator
The lead regulator regulates the length of the punch contour. It acts on the lead of the punch.
5. Dead band
To improve the regulation result, you can enter a dead band of the regulator. Increase the dead
band as the register fluctuations in the preprint increase. There is no register correction if the
measuring error is inside the dead band.
6. Response to register faults
If the register mark could not be found three times in succession, you can define whether the
machine shall stop with a quick stop, or whether a message shall be issued.

All entries are only accepted after you have pressed the
button.
Press the
button to discard all changes and to maintain the old settings.
