When issuing a SLEEP, PAUSE or STAYAWAKE command using this method any previous SLEEP, PAUSE or
STAYAWAKE functionality still operating (because it is still within the WAKERDURATION) will be cancelled.
The PAUSE and STAYAWAKE commands can be issued after a normal WAKE command (directed to an ID or
broadcast ID of 0xFFFFFF) and will work in conjunction with it for the WAKERDURATION period.
Cancelling
To stop a previously sent command from lasting the full WAKERDURATION period you can reissue the command
using 0x0000 as the
Data Tag
.
WARNING:
Be very careful of using the broadcast PAUSE command because every awake acquisition module on
the same channel as the base station will be paused. When in paused mode most modules will remain in that
mode until issued a reset or continue command so no low power battery saving modes would be operational nor
would the transmission of Data Provider packets occur. So if you inadvertently paused modules not part of your
immediate system this could be problematic.
When pausing multiple modules it is advised to pause them one at a time unless you know no other systems will
be operating on your radio channel.
