Note: Ice weight (Hollow Cubes) can result in a long harvest and melting out.

If the ice is melting out on the entire evaporator during harvest, DO NOT

install refrigeration gauges. It is clearly NOT a refrigeration problem.

Indigo NXT Ice Machine Troubleshooting

Inspect evaporator for reasons why the ice is not sliding off.

Dry evaporator and have the area well-lit with light.

Look for items such as: Scale on evaporator grid, plastic molding cracked or warped, bent or

damaged partition (hammer/ice pick/meat cleaver/etc.), solder deterioration, grid separation,

gasket not sealing, rough surface, silicone missing from corners, etc...

Scale buildup that can cause a long harvest typically is on the bottom of the horizontal grids.
