Sample viscosity options
This area is useful for customising the viscosity parameters.
If working at low sample concentrations it may be useful to use the dispersant
viscosity as sample viscosity . At high dilutions, the assumption that the sample
viscosity is the same as the dispersant viscosity is usually valid. If this is not the
case, or at higher sample concentrations, over 0.1%, then the sample viscosity
should be measured and this value used.
If the viscosity of the sample is known only at certain temperatures select the
Prompt operator to enter viscosity button. This allows the user to enter both
the viscosity and the temperature, prior to the measurement being started.

By selecting the Define button the Mark-Houwink parameters dialogue
appears.
