Storage
The hook hole in the tool bottom is convenient for hang
-
ing th e tool f rom a nail or sc rew on th e w all.
Attach the blade cover to the shear blades so that the
blades are not exposed. Store the tool out of the reach
of c h ild ren. S tore th e tool in a plac e not ex posed to
moisture or rain.

Grinding the shear blades
NOTICE:
If the shear blades have considerably
deformed by grinding, replace the shear blades
w ith new ones.
1.
Install the battery cartridge to the tool.
2.
Turn on and start the tool so that the upper blade
and lower blade are positioned alternately.

Turn off the tool and remove the battery cartridge
f rom th e tool.
4.
Remove the screw, and then remove the branch
c atc h er.

Set the angle of a file to 4 , and grind the upper
blade from directions with the file.

CAUTION:
Before grinding the shear blades,
make sure that the tool is sw itched off and the
battery cartridge is removed from the tool.

Place the tool upside down, and then remove the
burrs from the shear blades with the file.

Set the angle of the file to 4 , and grind the lower
blade from directions with the file.
8.
R eturn th e tool to normal position, and th en
remove the burrs from the shear blades with the file.
9.
Attach the branch catcher by tightening the screw.
Grease lubrication
Interval of lubrication:
Every 100 operating hours

Remove screws, and then remove the bottom
c ov er.

attach the grease vessel to the hole on the cover by
turning th e grease v essel.

Apply the grease to the tool (Approximately g as
a guide).

5.
Attach the bottom cover, and then tighten
sc rew s.
