Maintenance:

The charge air cooler is to be disassembled and cleaned at the air side if the differential
pressure before/after radiator reaches more than 1.5 times test bed value (see acceptance
brake certificate A1.10).

Disassembly

Disconnect cooling water lines inlet and
outlet at the charge air cooler.

Loosen hexagon screws (

Fig. 1

/1 and 2).

Withdraw charge air cooler from hou-
sing (3). Support with lifting gear and
put it down in a suitable container for
the cleaning.

Clean charge air cooler according to
manufacturer's regulation (refer to
Book C).
