MALFUNCTION 

POSSIBLE CAUSE

During the recovery phase 
there is an evident refrigerant 
leak from the exhausted oil 
container. 
The leak test is negative. 

Dirt inside the Oil 
discharge solenoid valve.

During the automatic cycle it 
is not possible to recover the 
oil.

1. Cleaning of the solenoid valve OUT – S. 
2. Check of the gasket efficiency. 
3. calibrate pressure sensor 

Oil loading cell out of

1. Calibration of the exhausted oil scales. 
2. Replace if needed. 

Defective vacuum pump 

Vacuum pump replacement 

This may occur when the 
vacuum time is too short, 

When a vacuum time less than 20 minutes is set, the following message 
appears: 
“Less than 20 minutes of vacuum do not guarantee the execution of a 
correct procedure. Continue?”. 
The solution is keeping to the 20 minutes vacuum time.

Verify if internal bottle pressure level is over 18 bar, if yes: wait for 
pressure reduction, or uncondensable gases discharge.
If not: use personal safety protections, open equipment and check:

the check-valve (one-way valve on condenser)

Measure the pressure between the compressor and 
condenser HP side of recovery group (use a ¼ SAE hose with 
connector to open internal valve and a pressure gage) 

5)

 

if pressure is  

• 

<18 bar the pressure switch need to be 
not activated (circuit closed) 

• 

>18 bar the pressure switch need to be 
activated (circuit open) 

i.e. if pressure is 10 bar and pressure switch is activated (circuit open) 
change it with a new original pressure switch
