13.5.2 DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
STEP 1 – CHECK TAG FEATURE CODING
PRE CONDITION
• Turn ON the ignition
TEST PROCEDURE
• Connect i-SMART diagnostic tool, see whether UICU is detecting
• Open UICU read ECU tab and check TAG feature code
ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
• TAG feature code should be “0X00000000020201”
ACTION TO BE TAKEN
OK NOT OK
• Connect i-SECURE tool and enter platform home
page
• Select No of keys available and perform key check
• If any error observed while performing key check,

• Use i-SECURE programming tool
and enter platform home page &
perform key check to write correct
TAG code in the UICU for the
available
type key. Refer Key
checking procedure
• After Tag code writing, Reset ignition
for 2 minutes and confirm whether
the issue is resolved
• If the DTC still present, Replace
UICU with new one and perform
UICU assignment.
